Fearless Minds support inclusive education

Education researcher Dr Julie McMillan wants an inclusive education environment for all children, regardless of their difference or diversity – and in the latest Fearless Minds interview, Dr McMillan explains the benefits of inclusive classrooms in South Australian schools.

The Fearless Minds series shines a spotlight on innovative research programs being driven by Flinders University, and this new episode will show how Dr McMillan’s research is helping to develop a tiered approach framework for implementing inclusive education.

Underlining the importance of her work, Dr McMillan, alongside Flinders University colleague Dr Jane Jarvis, co-authored a chapter in Australia’s first handbook on school-wide positive behaviour support.
