If you a woman, non-binary or genderqueer person who works in STEM and wants to inform the public about your work, then Soapbox Science Adelaide needs YOU!

Soapbox Science Adelaide is a public outreach program aiming to excite more people about science, and the organisation’s events transform public areas into arenas for public learning and debate. Therefore, there are no PowerPoint presentations or lecture theatres – just scientists speaking directly to people.

Soapbox Science Adelaide 2023 will be held during August as part of the Science Alive! festival.

The organising committee is now looking for scientists across all areas of STEM subjects to take part. You can apply to speak at https://soapboxscienceadelaide.weebly.com/apply.html and applications are due by 31 March.
