FUMA free tour explains Some Like It Hot

Flinders University Museum of Art (FUMA) invites all staff, graduates and friends of Flinders to attend a thought-provoking floor-talk of the award-winning Some Like It Hot exhibition on Thursday 13 April.

FUMA Director Fiona Salmon will host the talk from 5.30-7.30pm and explain how Some Like It Hot explores the legacy of gender stereotypes in the tropical Top End through the work of Franck Gohier and Therese Ritchie.

Curated by Wendy Garden, the Some Like It Hot exhibition runs until 16 June 2023 and is presented by Artback NT with the assistance of the Australian Government through the Australia Council, its arts funding and advisory body.

Some Like It Hot recently won a weekly Visual Art & Design Award in the 2023 Adelaide Fringe Weekly Awards.

FUMA is located on the ground floor of the Social Sciences North Building and is wheelchair accessible.
