Trans Day of Visibility celebrations at Flinders

On Friday 31 March, Flinders University Queer Collective, in partnership with the Flinders University Student Association (FUSA), hosted an event in honour of Trans Day of Visibility.

In the morning, a range of LGBTQIA+ organisations and small businesses set up stalls in the Student Hub, while the FUSA Clubs space turned into an arts and crafts hub in the afternoon. With music, free food and trans pride merch available, the event was a celebration of the amazing accomplishments and contributions of the trans and non-binary people in the community, and a way to help provide visibility and show support for trans and non-binary members of the Flinders community.

Trans Day of Visibility is an annual international celebration of trans pride and awareness, recognising trans and gender diverse experiences and achievements.
