Go Dry in July to help breast cancer patients

Challenge yourself to go alcohol-free and be a part of Dry July this year, to help raise funds for Flinders Foundation’s continuing work to support patients with breast cancer.

This year, money raised from the Dry July campaign will help fund a SOZO machine for the Breast and Endocrine Clinic at Flinders. This equipment will help Flinders’ breast care nurses and specialised physiotherapists to monitor patients with breast cancer for the earliest signs of developing lymphoedema – and this will give them the best chance of early diagnosis and treatment to stop the condition from progressing.

Dry July isn’t only for people who are prepared to give up drinking alcohol for a month. For those who don’t drink alcohol but would still like to take part in this important fundraising drive, why not consider giving up coffee, soft drink or chocolate for a month? Whichever way you choose to Go Dry, you’ll be helping patients affected by breast cancer.
