Professor Steve Wesselingh

Academic status holder and alumni Professor Steve Wesselingh (BM, BS ’82 and PhD(Med) ’92) has been announced as the new Chief Executive Officer of the National Health and Medical Research Centre (NHMRC).

Professor Wesselingh brings a wealth of medical experience, clinical leadership, and national and international research success to the role. The NHMRC is Australia’s lead agency driving innovative health and medical research to improve the health of all Australians.
