As the end of the semester draws nearer, some Topic Coordinators may have questions about how online exams will operate in Canvas compared to FLO.

To support staff with all aspects of exams, a series of exam-related workshops will be run between October 17 -25 on the different tools used to create and mark online exams.

• Online Exams workshops will be run from October 19-25, covering how exams are structured in Canvas and what Topic Coordinators should do to ensure students have a consistent and error-free exam.
• Planning and Building Quizzes workshops will be run on October 17 & 25, showing how to construct a quiz that best meets a given assessment scenario. A self-paced version of this workshop is also available.
• A Marking workshop will be held on October 20, showing how to use SpeedGrader, the marking interface for assignments and quiz questions requiring manual marking. A self-paced version of this workshop is also available.
