Flinders PhD student earns geospacial recognition

Flinders PhD candidate Marcio Da Silva has been named the 2023 best post-graduate student in South Australia by the Geospatial Council of Australia. Marcio will now compete for the national title, to be announced next year.

Improving doctors mental health

Casual academic Kristen Foley was awarded the prestigious Public Health Research Award for her presentation ‘Workplace impacts on doctors’ mental health: An Australian public hospital ethnographic study’ at the Australian Public Health Conference 2023, hosted by the Public Health Association of Australia (PHAA). Kristen’s presentation featured research by Flinders University’s Professor Sharon Lawn and Professor Michael Baigent.
