Help revive the Sturt Community Garden

The beloved Sturt Community Garden is in need of some repairs and renovation – and you can help breathe new life into the garden by joining a team of volunteers through November and December.

Working bees have been organised between 11.30am and 1.30pm on 27 and 29 November, and also on 1, 5 and 7 December. To find the Sturt Community Garden, follow the signs from car park P18.

The redesigned garden will place an emphasis on sustainability and community engagement – with volunteers at the working bees being asked to help move garden beds, lay down pallets, weed mats, bricks, soils, mulch and establish a worm farm.

Soft drinks and light snacks will be provided to keep all the volunteers refreshed and energised throughout the working bee.

To nominate for one or more of the working bees, email your details to nutritionengagement@flinders.edu.au
