New research procedures now published

New Research Data Management Procedures have been approved and are now available. These procedures replace the Management of Research Data and Primary Materials Policy.

The new procedures, which are part of the Research Integrity Policy and its supporting procedures, outline the responsibilities of researchers and the University regarding the management of research data.

The procedures provide guidance on ownership, storage, access, retention and disposal of data, and incorporate internal and external developments, such as the availability of the Flinders Data Management Planning Tool and establishment of the FAIR and CARE principles.

These procedures are now in effect and apply to all research data generated and/or collected in the conduct of research by Flinders University researchers, including staff, academic status holders, higher degree by research (HDR) students, and coursework students with a research component.

To familiarise yourself with the procedures, please visit the Flinders Policy Library – see the Research category or recently approved policies page.
