Eureka moments can earn big prize money

Nominations are now open for the annual Australian Museum Eureka Prizes, the country’s leading science awards that offers an $180,000 prize pool to be shared between the winners.

Academics from across Flinders are encouraged to nominate themselves or a deserving colleague for the 18 prizes being offered in 2024, covering a broad spectrum of scientific disciplines and with opportunities for scientists at all levels.

It’s free to enter and there’s also assistance from the Flinders’ Research Development and Support team to review any applications from Flinders academics. Send your application through to RDS before Monday 25 March. For more information, click here.

Entries to Eureka close at 7pm AEST Friday 12 April. Learn more about the Eureka Prizes here.
