Events, storage and support at NCC

Here’s the latest information you need to know about hosting events in the New City Campus, plus how to identify the location of staff storage lockers and get support in the new campus.

Event requests

The New City Campus is fast gaining popularity as a prime venue for hosting university staff and student events. As such, our teams managing events are experiencing a high volume of requests, which they are diligently working through, and we ask for your continued patience through this process.

If you have an upcoming event and are interested in using one of our new stunning event spaces, here’s what to do:

  1. Refer to the Events Guide for everything from event space information, how to book, protocols, catering and facilities information.
  2. Submit your event request via the expression of interest form.
  3. For any queries, email FPEvents@flinders.edu.au.

Some important reminders to ensure we keep our event spaces welcoming for guests, and clean and tidy for everyone:

  1. For approved events, a staff representative from the organising area should be present to assist during the event with attendee arrivals, departures, catering etc.
  2. Room set up and cleaning, particularly where catering has been provided, are to be requested through Service One, as is current practice at our other campuses.

Staff storage lockers

Lockers are available for storage of staff personal belongings on level 7, for up to 10 hours per day.

For other storage requirements, two labelled tambors are allocated to each College. The tambors are located at the North Terrace side of the building on Level 7.

Please note each tambor has two keys. One will be provided to the College Operations team and the other can be found with the Flinders Security Office, also located on Level 7.
