It’s that time of semester again – the Student Evaluation of Teaching (SET) survey is now live. All staff that obtain more than a 75% response rate for their SET will go into the draw to win a $50 gift card.

SETs are open now until 22 November and students will receive an email invite with a link to set.flinders.edu.au. Each semester students could win one of ten $50 gift cards for providing their valuable feedback.

Encouraging your students to complete SETs provides insights to improve the quality of topics and teaching.

Promoting the SET in class or on FLO gives staff an opportunity to let students know how their feedback will help them and assure the student voice is heard here at Flinders. Activities can include:

• Displaying the new SET QR code on screens and posts
• Taking 5 minutes in class to allow students to complete it
• Post on FLO
• Give examples of changes you may have made from previous feedback
