Great news – the Professional Mentoring Program will be back in 2025, and nominations for both mentees and mentors are currently open.
Mentoring is a formal relationship between an experienced professional (mentor) and a less experienced professional (mentee), and mentoring programs are a widely established part of professional development in the higher education sector.
Participation in the 2025 Professional Mentoring Program is open to Flinders Professional Staff, with mentees to be drawn from the HEO4 to HEO8 levels, and mentors will be drawn from the HEO5 to senior professional levels.
Nominations for both mentees and mentors will close at 5pm, Tuesday 10 December 2024.
The Professional Mentoring Program at Flinders can help you broaden your networks, increase your engagement in the workplace and strengthen your professional practice, thanks to mentors providing mentees with an independent sounding board, an alternative perspective and a trusted connection to the broader University landscape.
