We are pleased to advise the opening of the new Social Station on Level 5 at Flinders City Campus, a dedicated space designed to enhance the student experience and provide a hub for relaxation, collaboration and recreation. This initiative follows consultation with the Student Council and the City Campus Student Advisory Group, ensuring that it meets the needs and expectations of our students.

Social station will offer a range of facilities, including:

• Lounge areas: comfortable sofas, armchairs and bean bags for students to relax
• Recreational facilities: Foosball and table tennis table, as well as a gaming and movie area
• Bookable study rooms: Dedicated quiet rooms and study spaces that can be booked for individuals or groups
• Collaborative zones: Large tables for group projects and collaborative activities
• Kitchen facilities: Fridge, toastie machines, and coffee/tea provisions

This new area aims to support an environment where students can hangout and have a space of their own that supports both their academic and social needs.
