Share your expertise and help students thrive through Flinders’ new wellbeing platform, BetterU. BetterU is a student-focused wellbeing initiative, supporting students to flourish across four key areas: body, mind, spirit, and together. The platform showcases the wide range of services, supports, and resources available at Flinders, while also offering practical advice, tools, and reflections to help students take positive steps toward improving their wellbeing and university experience.
Staff are now invited to contribute blog posts to Better U. This is an opportunity to share your disciplinary expertise, research insights, or teaching reflections that relate to student health and wellbeing. Many staff teach or research in areas—such as mental health, physical activity, nutrition, relationships, or resilience—that can offer valuable, practical takeaways for students.
Contributions don’t have to be long or formal. Posts can highlight useful resources, summarise helpful podcasts or articles, suggest effective habits, or reflect on student wellbeing challenges and supports.
