
In recognition of Flinders University’s position as a leader in social impact, Flinders has been ranked in the top 25 universities worldwide delivering on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In a standout year, Flinders achieved:
- #2 globally and#1 in Australia for Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10)
- #5 globally and #1 in Australia for Gender Equality (SDG 5)
- #10 in the world for Climate Action (SDG 13)
- #11 globally for Good Health and Wellbeing (SDG 3)
- Top 50 worldwide for Sustainable Cities (SDG 11), and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17)
- 21st in the world overall
These results are an endorsement and in recognition of the work that we do every day to address inequality, ensure equitable access to education and making a real and sustainable difference in the communities we serve.
