
Flinders University staff and alumni are making headlines in this year’s 40 Under 40 Awards, presented by InDaily. The 40 Under 40 Awards celebrate the passion, vision and achievements of South Australia’s young entrepreneurs and leaders.
Graduate Greg Stevens (BEng(Mech) ’14), Founding Director of Core Ventures Group and General Manager of Seed Terminator, was the winner of the Entrepreneurial Award, presented by William Buck. Core Ventures Group (CVG) is a seed-to-stage venture capital firm, while Seed Terminator is an agricultural technology company that is revolutionising weed management with mechanical harvest seed control.
In a bumper year for Flinders, we’re proud to have fielded a number of finalists across the 11 categories, including senior research fellow in cancer survivorship Dr Matthew Wallen; Elvis Chidi-Ezeama (MEng(Biomed) ’22), Founder and CEO of Biomicrology; Kosta Mantis (BBus ’13), Director of Pega Sports; and Matthew Woodrow (BCom ’08), Group Managing Director of Sarah Group.
