Commonwealth Prac Payment applications are now open

The Commonwealth Prac Payment (CPP) is a new initiative from the Federal Government launched 1 July, to support eligible students in nursing, midwifery, teaching, and social work during their mandatory placements. This financial assistance helps ease the burden of placement-related costs, allowing students to focus on gaining valuable practical experience and completing their training. Flinders University is now accepting CPP applications for upcoming placements.

How Staff Can Help
Flinders University staff play a key role in supporting students to access this payment. Here’s how you can assist:

  • Encourage eligible students to check their Flinders email for an invitation to apply.
  • Direct students to support if they have questions— they can visit our website, visit the Department of Education’s website or contact us at cpp@flinders.edu.au

Your support can make a real difference in ensuring students don’t miss out on this valuable assistance.
