Partial footbridge closure

A section of the northern end of the footbridge to/from Deidre Jordan Village and Sturt will be fenced off for works from 7am on Thursday 21 to 7am on Friday 22 May.

Access across the bridge from both directions will be maintained during works. Please follow directions on signage and from staff.

 

Reminders about lift audits in every lift

Over May and June, every lift across every campus and precinct is being audited for safety, compliance and naming consistency. Consultants will only need to work in each lift for a 10-minute period, so if they are in the lift you need to use, just ask and they will provide immediate access.

 

Window cleaning – including using a drone

Through May, we are continuing to clean windows on our campus buildings. So long as weather conditions remain favourable, windows on the following buildings will be cleaned this week:

• Sturt North, South and West

• Earth Sciences

• Biological Sciences.

If you’re working in or visiting these buildings, please keep the windows closed.
Please stay out of the work exclusion zones which will be set up below all window cleaning works and follow directions on signage and from staff.

 

Matthew Flinders Theatre works completed

Works to update rigging and lighting bars are now compete and access has reopened to all areas.
