Accessible toilet door upgrades

Works to upgrade accessible toilet doors are underway now and ongoing through July and August in the following buildings:

• Central Library level 3
• Registry Annex basement
• Sports Centre level 3
• Student Hub / Union level 1
• Sturt South level 1
• Sir Eric Neal level 3.

Please stay out of work zones and follow signage to other facilities nearby.

Weeding and slashing in car park 12

On Saturday 25 July, we will be slashing and removing weeds in the outer parts of car park 12 (adjacent to the Flinders Railway station). During works, areas will be cordoned off and inaccessible for car parking. Please stay out of cordoned off work zones and park in central bays.

Reminder to ‘Show Up’ to Adelaide Climate Action Week (ACAW)

Flinders is taking part in SA’s first community-led climate festival​, ACAW, with a free event in the Central Library: ‘Planet Talks, Pizza and Precincts’ from 11:00am to 12:30pm on Friday 31 July. Read more here.

New furniture in Anchor Court

Works to update furniture in Anchor Court have been completed with umbrellas arriving last week.

There are now six booths to make use of outside the College of Science and Engineering college front and Blend Café.

Electrical shutdown works – completed

We successfully completed electrical shutdown works held over the past two weekends at Tonsley and in the Physical Sciences and Biological Sciences buildings.
