Student designs shine at Iridescent

From disco-themed party outfits to elegant clothing designs fit for royalty, the garments by the Flinders class of 2022 Bachelor of Creative Arts (Fashion) and Bachelor of Creative Arts (Costume Design) students impressed the capacity audience at Iridescent – the 2023 HomeStart Fashion and Costume Graduate Parade.

Held at the Adelaide Festival Centre Plaza on Thursday 23 March – in the shadow of Flinders University’s new city campus – the 600 audience members enjoyed designs from South Australia’s latest crop of fashion graduates, including the four winners of key HomeStart Awards:

  • Indigo Kuchel – HomeStart Graduate of the Year: Costume
  • Kimberly Francis – HomeStart Academic Merit Award: Costume
  • Tasmin Martin – HomeStart Graduate of the Year: Fashion
  • Negin Arjomand – HomeStart Academic Merit Award: Fashion
