Clinical Advisory Group welcomes MD feedback from clinicians

The Clinical Advisory Group (CAG) provides advice to the Medical Program Board about delivery of the MD Program, in line with Australian Medical Council Standards. The group provides input to the MD curriculum, contributes to the clinical currency of the program, ensures high standards of student satisfaction with teaching and ultimately helps to ensure that Flinders graduates are ready to enter clinical practice as interns.

In 2022 the CAG is tasked with:

  • Reflecting on how clinical teaching is delivered and evaluated within the MD and providing advice to the Board based on best evidence for clinical education
  • Consulting widely within their disciplines and across their areas of expertise to ensure a broad viewpoint is brought to the CAG
  • Developing and supporting improvement initiatives and guiding the resolution of issues
  • Encouraging and supporting clinician engagement with Flinders University, including promotion of the Academic Status Program
  • Engaging with student leadership and MD Leadership in the co-creation and development of new initiatives.

Connect with the CAG to share your feedback and suggestions for the Flinders MD: clinicians@flinders.edu.au
