The Big Red Loop

The Office of Graduate Research (OGR) runs feedback sessions throughout the year called ‘the Loop’. These sessions are a chance for our HDR students to come and have an informal chat with our Dean, Tara Brabazon and the team from the OGR.

This year we all kind of feel like we blinked and 2019 was over! This prompted us make the last Loop for 2019 a celebration. Tara suggested we make it a red themed event. So we did! And we called it ‘The Big Red Loop’.

Around 50 people dressed in their finest red and came to the Bedford Park campus to celebrate with us. They came from far and wide including Sue Charlton and her husband Peter who drove up from Mount Gambier that very day.

We are super proud of the relationship we have with our HDR community at Flinders. We loved that we had a chance to pause and reflect on an incredible 2019 with our students.

From all of us in the Office of Graduate Research, we wish you all a safe and happy break and, as Tara says, every best wish for you all in the New Year!
