FINDING A WAY : A photovoice Project

What is your experience of physical activity during COVID-19? Share your experience in the Finding a Way exhibition.

The last couple of weeks have been a tumultuous time in South Australia with changing restrictions due to COVID-19.

During a time that has left many feeling isolated, The Finding a Way exhibition is an online space for the Flinders University community to come together, connect, and share their experiences with one another.

Researchers from the Discipline of Behavioural Health are encouraging Flinders University students, graduates, and staff to share their photos of physical activity during COVID-19 in the exhibition.

The exhibition showcases photographs captured by Flinders University students’ depicting their experiences of physical activity during the pandemic.

All photos and the students’ commentary were phenomenologically analysed as part of a Photovoice study, to generate a shared understanding of physical activity during COVID-19.

We would love to hear from the Flinders community about how they have experienced physical activity during this time, how things have changed for people, the challenges people faced and the different perspectives this situation presented,” says Dr Candice Oster, Project Lead.

Whether you have experienced disruption to your usual routine, found new creative ways of keeping active during COVID-19 or have been inactive due to restrictions, all experiences are welcome.

You can view the full exhibition and send in your photos here.
