The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a multi-round, public-speaking competition that cultivates PhD students’ academic, presentation and research communication skills. Learn more about the 3MT here.

This year’s College Heats were held between the 21st and 23rd of June and the standard of the competition was phenomenal! All competitors did a fantastic job of explaining the scope and significance of their research. Some fierce debating went on in the judging room to decide who would progress to the next round – thank you again judges for the valuable feedback you provided to all competitors!
