About Flinders

Our bold vision, captured in our Strategic Plan: Making a Difference: The 2025 Agenda, is to be internationally recognised as a world leader in research, an innovator in contemporary education, and the source of Australia’s most enterprising graduates.

To realise this ambition, we recently made a significant organisational change to a six College structure with an academic and professional staff and services alignment.

We recognise the key to our success is exceptional people and we are seeking outstanding individuals to join the Student Learning Support Services (SLSS) and Foundation Studies Program (FSP) on a casual basis in 2025.

About the SLSS

At the SLSS, we aim to provide one-to-one study support online or in-person, workshops to help students develop their academic skills, and we create a wide range of online study resources that are accessible to students at any time.

We are seeking casual Learning Advisors to work in our Learning Lounge service in 2025. The Learning Lounge is a drop-in service to support students’ academic skills development, including academic writing, referencing, numeracy, and study strategies. It is located at three campuses: Bedford Park, Sturt, and City. As a casual Learning Advisor, it is possible to work at any of the three locations according to your availability and preferences.

About the FSP

The FSP is a university bridging course designed to give students the confidence and skills they need to start one of over 30 Flinders degrees. In as short as 5 weeks, or via a 10-week or 14-week program, they could step into a Flinders degree and start their fearless journey to a new career.

The FSP is accepting expressions of interest for the purpose of casual work in 2025, should such opportunities arise.
