Overhauling our Audio Visual Teaching and Learning Spaces

The AV team have been very busy this year overhauling and improving lots of teaching and learning spaces across the University. With the team fast approaching the end of the 2019 Learning Spaces Plan project, here are a few key highlights:

  • Law and Commerce courtyard teaching space upgrade in conjunction with Properties, Facilities and Development – AV technology refreshed and transparent brighter collaborative spaces installed as part of the design
  • Fitout of an advanced Stock Market Trading Room being installed on level 2 of the Law and Commerce building. Get your stock portfolios ready!
  • Over AV #50 spaces delivered so far, with more to come before the end of the year!

Other exciting projects completed or about to complete by end of 2019 include:

  • Minor AV refurbishments in Sturt De Café – including a digital Juke Box ensuring the students have a similar experience as the tAVern on the main campus.
  • Movement of Office of Student Recruitment into the Students Centre created three exciting meeting spaces and six experimental signage displays – great meeting spaces – check them out (great larger meeting room – Room – U_STC_115_Meeting Room_(12))
  • Extensive works across the central library levels – go and have a look – too much to mention

The team has delivered an enormous amount of value across BAU and initiatives as seen in the 2 weeks sprints as per screen grab below.
