Proquest is a great database; however, it has a fatal flaw which needs to be rectified in order to be more effective. You can not search for a specific title or author. Thus, if you have to locate an article which you have previously located it is almost impossible to find it again. In the search options there also needs to be a specific title search, as well as a specific author search. I regularly use proquest for research purposes, but find this aspect of it really frustrating.
Its good to hear you are enjoying using Proquest. Thanks for your feedback on Proquest.
Have you tried clicking on the Advanced tab when you enter Proquest?
This gives you the option to search by Author, Document title, Publication title and more. In fact, I rarely use the Basic tab as I find the Advanced tab gives me more flexibility and allows more search options.
