Flash Points in Central Library
Spend 10-15 minutes learning about a key library activity. They will be repeated at the same time every day during O’Week and Week 1. Come to as many as suits.

Monday to Thursday in O’Week & Week 1
11.30am: How to search FindIt@Flinders (main search tool)
12.00noon: How to find a book on the shelf
12.30pm: Using My Account (your borrowing record)
1.30pm: How to use the Self Checks (for loans and renewals)
2.00pm: Discover your Readings (for your tutorials)

Tours of Central Library (20 min.)
1.00pm Monday to Friday in O’Week
1.00pm: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in Week 1

Law Library – Level 3, Central Library building. – Library tours will be held during the Weeks 1 and 2. Times will be advised.

Medical Library – Level 5, Flinders Medical Centre – Students enrolled in Medical topics will have a tour of the Medical Library and resources included as part of their course and tutorial content during the semester. The Medical Library also has self-guided tours, and staff are very happy to answer any queries.

Sturt Library – Level 3, South Wing, Sturt Campus – Library tours for Nursing and Midwifery students will be running during Week 1 each day from Monday 27th February to Thursday 1st March at 12 noon and 2 pm. Turn up for the tour at the Sturt Library Information Desk.
