The Library is pleased to be the venue for the LATIN AMERICAN FREE FILM FESTIVAL, organised by the Spanish Section in the Department of Language Studies.
Held at Flinders from 10-26 October, 2012 in the Noel Stockdale Room, Central Library.
Admission is free. All very much welcome. All movies are subtitled.
The opening of the Festival will take place on Wednesday October 10 at 5.00pm, followed by the screening of the beautiful Argentinian film Roma, directed by Adolfo Aristarain.
Thursday October 11, come and see Norah´s Will, a Mexican film directed by Mariana Chenillo, a comedy like nothing you have seen before.
On Friday October 12, the short Creative Documentary from Paraguay Karai North and the Uruguayan Drama The Pope´s Toilet directed by César Charlone and Enrique Fernández will also be screened. See full program details below!
