Fridays at the Library presents "Australia Circumnavigated: celebrating the achievements and legacy of Matthew Flinders"

An afternoon of talks and discussion featuring expert speakers visiting from the UK, including

Kenneth Morgan, editor of the Matthew Flinders’ Investigator journals to be published early in 2015
Mike Barritt, president of the Hakluyt Society, publisher of the new edition
Peter Ashley, author of The Indomitable Captain Matthew Flinders, R.N.

The visiting speakers will be joined by three prominent Australian Flinders scholars, Jean Fornasiero, Danielle Clode and Dany Breelle.
