The ability to evaluate information for credibility has always been vital skill for our students. In the post truth ‘fake news’ era how can we help them navigate the global information environment? The Library’s liaison librarians Yasmine Shaheem (Science & Engineering) and Rebecca Whitehead (Social & Behavioural Sciences and Foundation Studies) have been working with Dr Peter Tangney (Flinders Centre for Sc Edu in the 21st Century) to produce an online guide for students to develop the lifelong learning skill of evaluating information sources for credibility.
