During O’Week the Library will be in the thick of it, getting to know new students and sharing information about Library Services and FLO Navigation. We want to help students achieve success in their studies and provide research skills that can be taken beyond the campus into daily life.

 

O’Week Library Activities

 

Library O’Week Stall

Meet with a Librarian, learn about library services, and take a look at a selection of study books. Oh and did we mention there will be some freebies to give away?

Dates and Times:  Monday 25 February 9am to 3pm

Library & FLO Tours

Central and Sturt Branches will be holding some tours during the week. Students can take a look around the library and learn about key services that can assist with their studies including access to study zones, Book a Librarian search strategy appointments, opening times, how to find books and articles and more! Students will also get a crash course in FLO and will learn where to get help if needed.

Dates and Times

Central Branch: Monday 25 Feb to Friday 1 March, 10am to 3pm on the hour, every hour.

Sturt Branch: Wednesday 27 Feb to Thursday 28 Feb, 11am and 2pm only.

Library Selfie Competition

Libraries are fun and you can win prizes! A selfie, or as we like to call it ‘a shelfie’ is easy to take and even easier to share. We invite students to explore our Library branches and find a spot to take a ‘shelfie’. Post to Facebook using the hashtag #FLIBShelfie to go into a draw to win a student gift pack valued at $100.
