We are exceptionally proud to announce the outstanding achievements of our Institute’s representatives in this year’s Flinders University 3MT competition! 

Congratulations to Thomas Beltrame for clinching the top spot with his captivating presentation “Music is Magical”. Thomas’s ability to communicate his research with clarity and impact truly shone through. A round of applause also goes to Tharin Sayed, who secured an impressive second place with her electrifying presentation “Zapping Tinnitus Away!” 

Both Thomas and Tharin have demonstrated exceptional skill in distilling their complex research into engaging three-minute presentations and their success in this competition is testament to their hard work and the innovative research they are undertaking within our Institute.

As winner of the 2024 Flinders University 3MT competition, Thomas is now eligible to participate in the 2024 Virtual Asia-Pacific 3MT Competition with the winner receiving a $5k research travel grant!
