End-of-year festivities continued with the College of Medicine and Public Health (CMPH) Clinical Leaders’ Lunch.

Over 50 clinicians, academic and professional staff took the opportunity to mix and mingle over a light lunch at the Flinders Medical Centre.

The lunch also presented the chance to congratulate Dr. David Close on his retirement from MD teaching.

Associate Professor Eng Ooi (ENT Surgery) commended David on his commitment to training future doctors, particularly over the past 7 years since his retirement from clinical practice.

Dr Close reflected on his experience as a clinician educator, conducting small group interactive ENT teaching sessions and lectures for medical students in Bedford Park and Victor Harbor.
