The end-of-year celebration for the 2023 Barossa students was a wonderful and memorable event! The gathering at Barossa Distilling, with Program Staff, GP Supervisors, and students, created a festive atmosphere. Dr. Natalie Payne’s short presentation about each student added a personal touch to the evening, highlighting individual achievements and contributions.

Gourmet pizzas from Ember Pizza and the outdoor setting contributed to a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The positive quote of the night from one student reflects the overall sentiment of the group, “this has been the best year I have had in medicine”.

Celebrating together and reflecting on the year provided a valuable opportunity for everyone to connect, share experiences, and look forward to what 2024 holds for each student. The agreement that 2023 was a fantastic year for the Barossa MDRS indicates a sense of accomplishment and unity within the group.
