In January 2024, further works are scheduled to take place, involving the closure of Sports Road, impacting access to Service Road. Thank you for your ongoing patience, and a particular thank you to our precinct partners at Flinders Medical Centre and Flinders Private Hospital, who have been willing to work with us. Please continue to drive carefully and follow all signage and directions, particularly when workers are on site.

Works will occur from Monday 8 January 2024 to approximately Wednesday 24 January 2024, on Sports Road. Sports Road will be closed between University Drive and Service Road during this period.

Detailed information is as follows:

• A traffic controller will be located on University Drive at the entrance to Sports Road between 6am and 6pm only, with appropriate signage and road barriers in place, outside these hours.
• To limit traffic build-up for people leaving the hospital precinct, traffic turning right at the T-junction from Service Road onto Flinders Drive may be diverted left on Flinders Drive and around University Drive to Sturt Road.

• From 8-24 January:

• • Sports Road between University Drive and the intersection with Service Road will be closed to all vehicles
  • Access to all car parks will be maintained, with access to carpark 12 via Main South Road and Flinders Drive
  • Sports Road between the intersection with Service Road and car park 12 will be open
  • Pedestrian access on the northern side of Sports Road between University Drive and the intersection with Service Road will be open
  • The Campus Connector bus will be diverted via Sturt Road, Main South Road and Flinders Drive. The Station Express will not be operating at this time. See more.
