2024 FHMRI eNews Framework

 

Purpose

To:

  1. Foster a FHMRI culture of research excellence,
  2. Celebrate FHMRI researchers, and
  3. Communicate opportunities.

 Audience

College of Medicine and Public Health academics, professional staff, academic status holders, HDR students and Honours Students.

Scope

  • Section 1. Congratulations – awards, prizes, rankings, significant publication (not a list of papers), grant, fellowship, news interest on TV, radio or print, HMRB milestones.
  • Section 2. Humans of FHMRI – we select one researcher for each month and they answer 3 questions and supply a pic. Need to ensure good spread of researchers represented. We can select them and schedule them now.
  • Section 3. Opportunities – list FHMRI-RED* activities, including the upcoming grants table, jobs, scholarships, research seminars.

Frequency

Monthly, with distribution occurring on Wednesday mornings at the end of each month collating each month’s activities

  • May – 29-May-24
  • June – 26-Jun-24
  • July – 31-Jul-24
  • August – 28-Aug-24
  • September – 25-Sep-24
  • October – 30-Oct-24

  • December* – 11-Dec-24

*Moved to mid-December prior to University closure

  1. Automatic – via FHMRI all staff list.
  2. Honours list
  3. PHD list

Editors & Approvers

  • Editors: Shannon Coleman + Esther Sterk
  • Initial content review: Rebecca Keough + Michelle Cox
  • Final approval: Billie Bonevski (Provided Monday for review. Approved prior to 10am Tuesday)

The FHMRI eNews is an evolving publication, with feedback and suggestions for improvement welcome.
