Richard joins the team in Alice Springs as an Administrative Officer working within the Centre for Remote Health. 

 

What is your role, and what does your work focus on? 

I am responsible for the administration of Student placements and short courses here in Alice Springs.

Where did you work before joining CMPH? 

Before joining Flinders, I was the Venue manager of Alice Springs Brewing Co.

What journey brought you to this point in your career? 

After 5 years in the hospitality management sector, I decided I deserved a social life! Very glad to be here.

What is something you love most about your work? 

The team! The team here in Alice Springs are lovely! Such a family vibe. I am blessed.

If you could tell your younger self one thing, what would it be? 

Put $100 on Leicester City winning the premiership in 2016. It paid 5000/1!

In all seriousness though, I would say come to Australia sooner than I did.

If you had a superpower what would it be?

I’d like to be able to fly.

How do you like to relax or spend your spare time?

Sport, sport and more sport. Watching or playing. I love a good documentary too.
