2024 marks a monumental milestone for Flinders University as we celebrate 50 years of delivering world-class medical education. Held at the iconic Adelaide Oval, the 50 years of Medicine Gala Dinner brought together distinguished guests, alumni, and staff to commemorate the legacy of the Flinders Medicine program.

Since 1974, Flinders University has pioneered medical education in Australia through its unique partnership with the Flinders Medical Centre (FMC) and Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN). This integration, the first of its kind, has paved the way for innovative teaching, research, and community care.

Now, with the opening of the Health and Medical Research precinct, we’re excited about the future of medicine, where researchers, clinicians, and industry partners collaborate like never before.
