The students got engaged in hands-on learning
Seven young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men from Clontarf joined us at the Darwin Casuarina campus for a “super good” day exploring pathways into medicine and health.

From learning CPR and tackling a medical escape room, to hearing about Indigenous Men’s Health programs and testing out paramedicine kits – the hands-on activities were a hit!
The students called it “super fun” and said they’d “love to come back” for more – next time they’re keen to learn snake bite bandaging and stopping artery bleeds!

Big thanks to Clontarf and our medical and paramedicine students who helped make the day possible.
