The Flinders Rural and Remote Health stand was a popular stop at this year’s Riverland Field Days, welcoming a steady stream of visitors across both days.
Our rural staff and student ambassadors were joined by Indigenous and Pathways Outreach Officers from Yunkurrinthi, working together to share opportunities for study at Flinders.
As part of the Field Days careers trail, more than eighty local high school students visited our stand. They heard directly from our student ambassadors about their journeys into the SA Rural Medical Program and explored pathways into medicine, nursing, regional allied health, and other Flinders courses available locally, online, and at our Adelaide campuses.
We were also pleased to connect with many community members—some past Flinders students, others with family studying with us—who appreciated seeing Flinders represented at this annual community event.
