Louisa Matwiejczyk Adv APD, Flinders University and Melissa Colombo APD were both recipients for a DAA Award of Merit at the DAA Annual General Meeting and Gala Event in December 2014 in recognition of their work with the DAA and supporting the profession. Accolades too to our early career researchers….

Early career researchers, Dr Carly Moores and Lucy Bell (about to be conferred her PhD!) were handpicked as potential leaders to attend a Leadership Program at Monash University in Victoria. Dr Carly Moores has also received a Faculty Domestic Research Fellowship including funding to attend the DAA National Conference in Perth. Dr Kacie Dickinson was a finalist for the Channel Nine Young Achievers Award and has received an International Society of Cardiovascular Disease Epidemiology and Prevention fellowship to go to Fiji this year to strengthen her epidemiology interests.
