Awards

Liz Kellett and Professor Lynne Daniels awarded as Fellows of DAA. Fellow of DAA (FDAA) is awarded to high profile and proactive leaders who are recognised as experts both nationally and internationally.

  • Liz is the current President of DAA and previously Head of Department at FMC Dietetics.
  • Lynne contributed to research and teaching as A/Prof of Dietetics at Flinders University for many years. She is currently the Head of School at Queensland University of Technology.

Emma Tonkin (Dietitian, PhD candidate) awarded the prestigious School of Health Sciences Dean Award

Student Prizes – 2015 graduates

Nutricia Australia Prize in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics – Su Mei Tay.  Awarded to the student enrolled in either the Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics or the Master of Nutrition and Dietetics whose overall performance in the topic Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics is judged the best.

Uncle Tobys Prizes in Nutrition and Dietetics – Matilda Smale BND and Siobhan Carr MND.  Awarded to the student whose overall performance prior to final year is judged to be the best.

International Student Prizes – Gladys Lim BND and Wing In Li MND.  Awarded to the International students enrolled whose overall performance and contribution to the course are judged to be the best.

CSIRO Prize in Nutrition and Dietetics – Georgia Middleton.  Awarded to the student enrolled in the Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics Honours (BND Hons) course whose performance is judged to be the best.

Nutrition and Dietetics Academic Excellence. Masters – Jessica Kruger, Honours – Gladys Lim, Bachelor – Grace Liew.

Dietitians Association of Australia (SA Branch) Prize in Nutrition and Dietetics – Gladys Lim.   Awarded to the student whose overall academic record, performance on placement and contribution to the Discipline of Nutrition and Dietetics is judged to be the best.
