Asia Postgraduate Awards Success in 2017

Nutrition and Dietetics has been successful once again in being award funding from Asia Postgraduate Program in the 2016 round. This funding will provide opportunities for Master of Nutrition and Dietetics students in 2017 to undertake study abroad to University Gajah Madah (UGM).

This follows on from a successful exchange program to UGM earlier this year. The MND students undertake an elective on common nutrition issues in Indonesia for which they are provided credit for their capstone topic Independent Studies.

The Asia Postgraduate Grants allow students to undertake short term study overseas to gain credit for their program of study. These grants are of benefit to both students and staff by creating opportunities to engage with other countries in the South East Asian region, see nutrition problems from a different perspective and collaborate with other institutions. We look forward to once again working with UGM to facilitate this visit and strengthening ties between our departments.
