Small grant opportunity for FHMRI HDR students

Flinders Health and Medical Research Institute (FHMRI) is offering enrolled Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students in the College of Medicine and Public Health (CMPH) the opportunity to apply for a small grant of up to $5,000 that directly relates to their research project.

This is an excellent opportunity for students to gain experience in grant writing, an essential skill for a career in research. Up to three grants will be awarded across all FHMRI Themes.

 

Eligibility:

Applications are open to all enrolled CMPH HDR students with a primary supervisor in the College of Medicine and Public Health.

The student will have completed at least 12 months of candidature and have equal to or more than 6 months of their candidature remaining as of 30 September 2022.

Previously successful applicants to this scheme are not eligible to apply.

To provide guidance and training an HDR Community of Practice session on grant writing will be held on Tuesday September 13, 11:30am – 12:30pm.

 

Application Deadline: 5pm, Tuesday 4 October 2022.
