< Looking back

The first ‘Skills & Snacks’ workshop was an incredible day where students developed a short research pitch and practiced with other students in a speed-dating format. Special thanks to Dr Amy Wyatt for her wisdom and to RED Hub for sponsoring the first event in what we hope will be an ongoing series of networking and professional development for our HDR students.

Good stuff

Congratulations to the following students who presented their research near and far:

  • Third-year PhD student Rachel Mynott traveled to Germany to present her research at a special European Molecular Biology Organization workshop centered around Ferroptosis.
  • Public Health PhD student Joanna Caruso presented her work at the National Preventative Health Conference in Adelaide earlier this month.

We’d love to hear from you! If you have any achievements to share or just want to chat, reach out to your HDR student representatives at cmph.hdrcop@flinders.edu.au
