Southgate PhD Student Adam Ridley visits Malmo University, Sweden

Southgate Institute PhD student, Adam Ridley, recently travelled to Malmo University to conduct his fieldwork after being the first recipient of a grant from the International Network of Universities’ inaugural ‘Seed Money Fund’. He was also supported by an Australian Endeavour Research Fellowship. Adam’s research focuses on international comparisons of multiculturalism policies to examine which policies lead to improved racial discrimination, social cohesion, and equal opportunity outcomes. Adam was able to develop collaborative partnerships with researchers at the University, and the opportunity allows Flinders University and Malmo University to forge stronger links.

More details of Adam’s grant success and fieldwork can be found at: http://international.flinders.edu.au/post/hej-da-farewell-malmo/
