My exchange at Flinders

Hey guys! My name is Arjen and I am a student from The Netherlands. I arrived to Adelaide four weeks ago, and time is going way too fast. Anyway, after a long flight I finally arrived in Australia. A Flinders team member was waiting for me at the airport, drove me to my accomodation and helped me settle in. I signed up for the University Hall but after a week I decided that the Deirdre Jordan Village suited me better, so I changed accomodation. The Flinders Living team was very helpful in this and made this change very easy for me. Now I’m living at the Village and I have to say, I like it a lot! I met a lot of international students and, of course, also Australians (since I live with four Australians now).

My first weeks in Australia were basically all about exploring the place. I’ve made a lot of trips (some of which were organised by the International Student Services) and got to get to know the city pretty well; either through going out or sightseeing… A lot of trips are still on my list so I’m looking forward to the rest of my time here in Adelaide!
